Why Instagram

Why an agent posts here.

Instagram is where a listing gets looked at. It is picture first, which is why the studio makes the branded listing graphic inside the composer, and it is where buyers who found you by accident send the first message.

By handIn the studio
Writing the postType it in the app, then again in the next app.Write it once. Give Instagram its own version only when it needs one.
Fitting InstagramGuess where it cuts off and hope the point landed.Instagram folds a caption at about 125 characters; the preview marks it.
PicturesFind the photo, resize it, forget the logo.A picture is required here and the composer says so first. The listing graphic renders with your logo, headshot and color.
TimingPost when you remember, usually at night.Pick the slot. It goes out on time from the same calendar as every other network.
Checking itRead it twice and hope nothing breaks a rule. The reviewer checks fair housing wording, rate claims and listing facts before you ever see it.
Comments and messagesOpen the app to find out. They land in the studio inbox with Reply, Lead, Later and Done, and keyword rules answer the routine ones once you turn them on.
How it works

Three steps to Instagram.

The Instagram card on the studio's Accounts screen
01

Connect Instagram once

One approval at Instagram and the studio brings you straight back. A shared page belongs to the business; a personal account stays private to you.

02

Write once, check the preview

Tap Instagram in Post to, write the post, and see the Instagram preview beside the others before it goes anywhere.

The pipeline board: planned, being made, in review, ready, published
03

Say yes on the board

The post waits as Ready until you approve it, unless you let reviewed posts send themselves. Then it goes out on time and shows on the calendar with its link.

What the studio does on Instagram

Built for how Instagram actually takes a post.

A picture on every post

Instagram will not take a post without a photo or video. The composer says so before you try, and the reviewer checks it on every planner draft.

Listing graphics made for it

Just listed, just sold, open house, price improvement, pending and coming soon, from your own photo with your logo and headshot on it.

Folds at 125 characters

The caption folds behind more early here. The preview shows exactly where, so the address or the question sits above the fold.

Up to 30 hashtags, in the first comment

The studio moves the hashtags into an automatic first comment so the caption stays readable.

Comments and DMs in the inbox

Comments and direct messages arrive in the studio inbox, grouped by conversation, with Reply, Lead, Later and Done.

Supported platforms

Write it once. Pick another network to see what the studio does there.

Questions

The fair questions about Instagram.

Which kind of Instagram account?

A business or creator account connected through Instagram's own approval. Connecting takes one tap and brings you back to the studio.

Can I post without a photo?

No, Instagram itself refuses a post with no picture or video. The composer tells you before you schedule, and the reviewer sends a planner draft back if it has none.

Do direct messages come through?

Yes. Comments and DMs land in the studio inbox as they happen, and a reply from the inbox goes back out on Instagram.

Where do I find the studio?

In your Reclearly dashboard. The Social Studio link opens it inside Reclearly, in your own workspace, and Instagram is on the Accounts screen.
