Why Bluesky

Why an agent posts here.

Bluesky is where a good share of the local news readers and the tech and university crowd went. It takes the same short market note as X, and it is free to post to.

Writing the postType it in the app, then again in the next app.Write it once. Give Bluesky its own version only when it needs one.
Fitting BlueskyGuess where it cuts off and hope the point landed.Bluesky takes up to 300 characters and does not fold; the composer counts them.
PicturesAttach one, or not, and hope it looks right.Optional here. The listing graphic is one tap when it helps.
TimingPost when you remember, usually at night.Pick the slot. It goes out on time from the same calendar as every other network.
Checking itRead it twice and hope nothing breaks a rule. The reviewer checks fair housing wording, rate claims and listing facts before you ever see it.
Comments and messagesOpen the app to find out.Not in the studio inbox today, which covers Facebook and Instagram. Posts go out; replies stay in the app.
How it works

Three steps to Bluesky.

The Bluesky card on the studio's Accounts screen
01

Connect Bluesky once

One approval at Bluesky and the studio brings you straight back. A shared page belongs to the business; a personal account stays private to you.

The composer with a post written once and previewed per network
02

Write once, check the preview

Tap Bluesky in Post to, write the post, and the composer counts the Bluesky caption and marks where it folds.

The pipeline board: planned, being made, in review, ready, published
03

Say yes on the board

The post waits as Ready until you approve it, unless you let reviewed posts send themselves. Then it goes out on time and shows on the calendar with its link.

Captured from the live studio on a demo account, Mitchell Realty Group, an invented Austin, Texas team. Every agent, listing, number and message in it is invented.

What the studio does on Bluesky

Built for how Bluesky actually takes a post.

300 characters, no picture needed

The composer counts per network so the Bluesky version can be its own short line.

An app password, not your real one

Bluesky has no connect button. You make an app password in your own Bluesky settings and paste it into the studio with your handle. You can remove it whenever you like.

Supported platforms

The same post, on every network you connect

Write it once. Pick another network to see what the studio does there.

Questions

The fair questions about Bluesky.

Why is there no connect button?

Bluesky does not offer the one tap approval the other networks do. The studio walks you through making an app password in Bluesky, which is not your real password and can be removed any time.

Where do I find the studio?

In your Reclearly dashboard. The Social Studio link opens it inside Reclearly, in your own workspace, and Bluesky is on the Accounts screen.
